King County District Court
Southeast Electoral District
Position 5
A Broader Perspective for the Bench
Civility
I will bring a calm, respectful, and disciplined courtroom. Civility is not weakness. It is the standard the public should expect from the bench.
Compassion
I believe justice can be both firm and humane. I will apply the law faithfully while treating every person with patience, decency, and respect.
Equality Before the Law
I believe the law must apply fairly to everyone. Every person who comes before the court deserves to be heard, treated with dignity, and judged individually.

ABOUT ME
Prepared to Serve
I am a Washington attorney, Army veteran, father, and Kent local who believes the law should be applied with civility, compassion, and the highest standards of equality.
I was born and raised in Washington State and served in the Washington Army National Guard, including a deployment to the Middle East with 5th Special Forces Group to support Operation Inherent Resolve. That experience taught me discipline, accountability, and the importance of sound judgment under pressure.
I earned my J.D. from Villanova University School of Law cum laude and returned to Washington to practice. My work spans employment, business, tax, and administrative law, alongside litigation and mediation management. I've also represented indigent clients through a Federal Low Income Tax Clinic.
I currently serve on the Washington State Bar Association’s Board of Bar Examiners and was appointed by the Governor to the Pierce County Boundary Review Board. I also completed judicial training for Pro Tem Judge service through the District and Municipal Court Judges’ Association and the WSBA.
Additionally, I founded and built a Kent-based security firm where I was responsible for employees, clients, and public safety operations across the country. That work reinforced what I already believed: leadership requires preparation, restraint, fairness, and responsibility.
I am running to serve as the kind of judge the public can trust: calm, serious, respectful, and committed to applying the law fairly. As a father and local Kent resident, I care deeply about safe neighborhoods, strong institutions, and a justice system that earns public confidence.
Why I'm Running
District Court is where the justice system touches everyday life most directly. It is where people experience whether the law will be applied fairly, whether they will be treated with dignity, and whether the courtroom reflects seriousness and restraint.
I’m running because the King County District Court needs more than simple familiarity with one part of the system. It needs breadth: real-world experience and judgment, disciplined thinking, and a judge who understands how legal decisions affect people, families, businesses, public safety, and community trust.
My background has given me that broader perspective. I’ve served in uniform all over the world, practiced across multiple areas of law, represented indigent clients, helped evaluate future lawyers through the Board of Bar Examiners, served on a gubernatorial board, completed pro tem judicial training, and led a business where decisions carried real consequences for employees, clients, and the public.
Together, we can bring civility, compassion, equality before the law, and a broader perspective to the King County District Court.
